2010-1910-1810...

Translation:

"The past is contained in its present, as is the future. Nothing occurs in that world, in which all things persist, still in the happiness of their condition".
Eneadas by Plotino

A new year is celebrated, but it seems to be the one celebrated a century ago.

"He who hears me state that the gray cat that is now playing in the patio, is the same cat who jumped and played five hundred years ago, can think what they want of me, but even stranger madness is to think that fundamentally, it is another"
Schopenhauer

And one same man celebrates, for the hundred time, hope.

*All quotes taken from A story of Eternity by Borges.

Again, again & again happy new year.

Thank you so much, you are extra kind. I don't deserve this kind of comments when I have abandoned my blog for such a long time. It's under redesigning, that's all I can say. Promise to be back soon! Stay tuned!

Hello there,

We just wanted to stop by and let you know that we love what you're doing with Self Exposed — amazing shots! We also wanted to offer up a way for us to work together.

C+E is way to give our readers informed access to ideas and cities across the World, while at the same time giving our family of contributors a far larger audience and an opportunity for them to make a little bit (but hopefully a lot!) more money from their content.

We have spent months pouring over thousands upon thousands of blogs and sites and have decided to launch in 20 cities with a handful of blogs in each. We would love to work with you there in Mexico City and beyond. We would use the content you post up on your blog, so there’s no extra work for you at all. At the same time you would be credited for any content, which means extra traffic for Self Exposed.

We would have attached the one-pager for you to have a look at, but couldn't find your email address.

If you have any thoughts or questions give either Luc or I an email and we'll get right back to you.

Let us know if you’re up for getting involved!

Luc Le Corre and Jean-Robert.

Hi there,

Hope you're well.

Since the last time we've been in touch, there have been A LOT of exciting developments here at Chorus+Echo HQ.

With the launch of C+E imminent, we've put together the first in our series of launch events in TOKYO [woo hoo!]. We'll be meeting up with several of our contributors from over there, meeting boutique and shop owners and architects, interviewing several creative and business leaders from lecturers and architects to designers and musicians, being interviewed by local press and also holding two C+E events - the largest being with London Calling at ELEVEN where Jean-Robert will be headlining (and speaking about himself in the third person...perhaps).

If you’re in Tokyo between March 15th-22nd and we’ve not arranged to meet let us know and we’ll make it happen!

We've also secured a number of incredible bloggers from around the world, too many to list here but including notably: http://dprbcn.wordpress.com - Barcelona, http://siliconhutong.com - Beijing, www.uberlin.co.uk - Berlin, http://bainspiration.com/en - Buenos Aires, www.themoneyillusion.com - Chicago, http://bmdesign.tumblr.com - Global, http://freeartlondon.wordpress.com - London, http://mexicanflamboyant.blogspot.com - Mexico City, www.forthebeat.com/blog - New York, http://unlockparis.blogspot.com - Paris, www.thomaslindqvist.com/blogg - Stockholm and the aforementioned www.spoon-tamago.com - Tokyo/New York.

We're also in talks with innumerable boutiques, hotels, designers and restaurants internationally and have secured some rather remarkable partnerships for the loyalty scheme as well as having the phenomenal Whillas & Gunn creating the first limited edition collaborative pieces for C+E.

It's all go here and we would love to work with you from the inception. Let us know if there's anything that you've not received, questions you want answered or thoughts you had and we'll get back to you straight away.

You can also find us on Twitter or Facebook where we’ll be spreading the word of our brilliant contributors and all things C+E. Hopefully we’ll be able to mention you too quite soon.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Good Afternoon,

I'm still really interested in getting you involved as a contributor to www.chorusandecho.com as I really love your blog, but never received any response from my last email to you?

Would you please let me know whether you have any interest in working with us, or of course if you are not interested, just reply to this and I will leave you alone.

The launch of Chorus+Echo has gone really well and is now 2 weeks old. There's still a lot of changes to be made, both technically and visually, with the next version of the site (which will be a real upgrade) planned to be released in 3 to 4 weeks time. Most importantly for us, the content has been received really well with our audience coming to the site from across the World and in the kind of numbers we had hoped for.

Please check out the website, remembering we're just beginning and this isn't the finished article... then let us know what you think, be great to have you on board and if you have any more questions just drop me a line.

All the best,

Jean-Robert and Luc
