De-construcción

(Read while listening to: End of the World by R.E.M.)

Photobucket

Translation:

Deconstructing

On the verge of a new day the reorganization of the self becomes urgent,
not so much as a response to its basic survival instinct, but as a craving for authenticity.
Thus the self shall be demolished.

Note: There will be absolutely no apologies given for the inconvenience.

Muda

(Read while listening to: Talk by Coldpay)

Las palabras ya no significan.

Photobucket

Yo busco nuevos puentes para transitar
de mí
a mí
a ti
a todos
a nadie

Photobucket

Lo que sea que signifique "yo"
"tú"
"todos"
"nadie"

Photobucket

¿qué tan lejos estamos
cuando ya no sabemos descifrar?

Photobucket

Glosario inutilizado de tanto abusarlo.

Translation:

Words displayed on pictures:

  • Emptiness
  • Impatient, lost
  • Possibility, uncertainty
  • Calm
  • Love

Text:
Words don't mean anything any more

I look for new bridges to take me
from me
to me
to you
to all
to no one

Whatever me
you
all
and no one
mean.

How far apart are we when we can't decipher anymore?

We abused the glossary to the point of making it useless.

Navajo Prayer

(Read while listening : On eagle's wings by Carlos Nakai)

My heart was feeling full of fear and anxiety for humanity and so, I chose to follow this spiritual practice, “WALK IN BEAUTY,” which is based on a Navajo prayer (1):

CLOSE YOUR EYES. BREATHE OUT THREE LONG, SLOW EXHALATIONS.
SEE AND SENSE BEAUTY BEFORE YOU...

I saw families, wanting to believe in the magic of a street circus. A mother, teaching her children how full of surprises the world can always be if you watch attentively.

I also saw a man that wanted to keep on working for his family, no matter how little the hope of having something better. Hope is all his eyes can see, and I find beauty in hearts like his.

SEE AND SENSE BEAUTY BEHIND YOU...

I saw beautiful human faces coming from the dark... like big red hearts glowing despite the obscurity.

SEE AND SENSE BEAUTY ABOVE YOU...

The sky, always blue, always wide and open... reminding us, how wide our souls can be. Offering always a different painting, perfect art made of air, light and water for us to enjoy and admire, for free.

SEE AND SENSE BEAUTY BELOW YOU...

Solid ground for me to walk and stand on this Earth, with the beautiful design that only nature could come up with. Perfect, organic oranges, browns and yellows.

Photobucket

SEE AND SENSE BEAUTY ALL AROUND YOU...

Just sensing autumn. The sun coming from behind the trees... a perfect view.

BREATHE OUT ONE TIME. SEE AND FEEL YOURSELF WALKING IN BEAUTY... KNOW THAT IT IS FINISHED IN BEAUTY.

HOW ARE YOU FEELING?

BREATHE OUT AGAIN AND OPEN YOUR EYES.

Luz para México

(Read while listening to: Imagine by John Lennon)

Photobucket

Paz.

Translation:

Once again, Self Exposed interrupts its normal publishing, unfortunately this time to pray for peace for Mexico.

I pray for the peace that Mexico so desperately needs.

I pray so there will be conscience among drug consumers, so they can understand that not only do they hurt themselves, but also know that by buying drugs, they support the drug trafficking system, thus becoming sponsors of kidnappers, wars...

I pray for a Mexico free of fear.

Where politicians really lead the country and where ambition for power does not overcome our need to develop into a better nation.

And I pray so that we all pray for peace. I truly believe that your sole intention can make a difference.

Peace.

Animación suspendida

(Read while listening to: Time by Pink Floyd)

Photobucket

-No sé. Pero sé que se podría, de no ser porque no se puede.

Translation:

Suspended animation

Time is running out.
There's no more left,
if only, a few instants.

I transit a curious state, where nothing moves,
but doesn't stop either.

It's like an eternal pause in fast forward.

And the faster,
the slower.

Space (d).

And in the same manner,
I lose my time, when being so sluggish.

I run while nobody can see me
(here comes the clock).

-It's not that things can't move at your own pace, it's just that...
-What? that what?
-I don't know. But I do know that it could be possible, if it weren't impossible.
